Ultra Street Fighter IV is a 2.5D fighting game, and it's a fourth update to the Street Fighter IV series. It introduces all kinds of new content like five new characters, six new stages, and many character tweaks and balance changes. This title also brings new modes to the game and features an enormous roster of 44 playable characters. Ultra Street Fighter IV was developed and published by Capcom on August 7th, 2014. The new gameplay mechanics include the Ultra Combo Double, the Red Focus Attack, and Delayed Standing. Ultra Combo Double gives you the option of picking both Ultra Combos of your character, but they will overall do less damage. This allows you to further experiment with your play style and come up with new tactics. The Red Focus Attack is a kind of a Focus Attack that can absorb multiple hits at a time but is still weak to Armor Breaking moves and throws. Hold the Medium Punch and Medium Kick buttons as well as the Light Punch button in order to charge your Red Focus Attack (during which time your character will flash red). Delayed Standing does exactly what the name suggests, as pressing any two buttons when your character gets slammed down by a hard knockdown move will make your character take a few extra frames to stand back up, which can disrupt the enemy combo. Unblockable setups have been removed from Ultra Street Fighter IV, which was something that the players requested for a long time. Elimination and Online Training are new modes which are accessible in the game. Elimination is a better version of the Team Battle mode where you face other players online, and Online Training lets you hone your skills against other online opponents.
